“What happens at home is more important than what happens at church.”
We aren’t just saying that. We believe it. A parent is a much better pastor for a child than we could ever be. It is for this reason that we feel that one of the best things we can do as a church is to “partner with parents” to give them the resources they need to live out a better ministry at home. What happens at home IS more important than what happens at church.
That is why we created Kidstuf . . . with the sole intention of giving parents and kids a shared experience that gives them a fun, clear view of God’s truths and lots to talk about when they go home.
We are more committed than ever to effectively partnering with parents by providing a shared experience AND practical tools that will help them lead their kids spiritually at home.
Here is how it works. . .
KidStuf meets every Sunday at 10:15 am in the NEW Theater 2.52! It is 30 minutes of fun, music, energy, laughs that will launch the monthly Big Idea (aka virtue) that kids are learning about in Upstreet.
Upstreet is the small group environment where kids get connected with their small group leaders and other kids as they look deeper into God's word and what he has to say about the Big Idea.
At each Kidstuf, you will be handed an exciting resource for your family called the “Kidstuf Take-Out.” It is a creative application tool designed to assist parents as they apply the Big Idea in their homes all month long. If you miss a Kidstuf and your Kidstuf Take-Out, you can still grab a KidStuf Take-Out on the other Sundays of the month as you exit Upstreet!
To top it all off, there is www.kidstufcovina.com . . . our soon-to-be-released website that will prove to be a powerful, online shared experience for kids and parents!
